Where to find help
Search Mailing Lists
Seven years of history awaits you in the users and developers lists archives. They are conveniently indexed in http://gmane.org.
Search Bug Tracker
Think you found a bug or have a good feature request? Search the bug database to see if someone else has reported your issue or thought of your request before. If you don't find your bug or feature request, it's a good idea to post to sipx-users mailing list to get some feedback. If you're a sipXecs veteran however, then feel free to add your bugs and ideas directly to the tracker.
Join the Forums / Mailing Lists
If you do not find your answer in the mailing list archives, join the mailing list and post your question.
IRC
- You can find some of the developers and users on IRC on irc.freenode.net in room #sipx.
- Here is a list of IRC Clients, if you don't have one already.
- There's also a web page to log into IRC : http://webchat.freenode.net/
Source
Source code never lies so read the source if you need to know your answer without any doubt. Our primary source control system is git. The repository is located at http://github.com/SIPfoundry/sipxecs.
To checkout the source run:
git clone git://github.com/SIPfoundry/sipxecs.git
Development occurs on a branch. The former 'master' branch is not used, and rather present for reasons of describing the historical state of the former mixed subversion and git tree, dating from the former involvement of Avaya with the project's precursor source code
