Split Application file name

Most phones can download their SIP Application images from split (vs. combined) files. Each split file is specific to a particular phone model.

This table below shows the split file name(s) used by each phone model. Some models have variants that use different split file names. Models marked n/a do not have this capability, and will only download the sip.ld file.

This file name will match the macro'd value "[xecsuser:PHONE_PART_NUMBER].sip.ld" in the [xecsuser:MAC].cfg configuration file.

Model identifier

The model identifier is a short string that uniquely identifies the phone model. It appears in HTTP and SIP request User-Agent headers, and will match the "[xecsuser:PHONE_MODEL]" macro in the [xecsuser:MAC].cfg configuration file.

Legacy version

Some models are termed "Legacy", and no longer supported by the latest SIP Application releases. The last sub-release which supports each of these models is listed here. (The non-Legacy models are supported by the "current" release.)

Codec group

Certain groups of Polycom models support the same codecs, including the default selected and preference order.
