User Manual for sipXecs 14.04
This user manual covers basic know-how on operating and configuring version 14.04 of the sipXecs phone system. They lay out which options exist and how to use them. The documents are specifically written for version 14.04.
It is intended for the system administrator, rather than a developer. For that reason, it does not cover subjects with the same depth as a developer might need it, but rather concentrates on the important details - the things which are needed to get a system up and running.
For that reason, the manual takes a topical approach rather than systematically explaining every menu option.
Logging In
To log in, navigate to the address of the sipXecs server. You will be greeted by the login page.
The default administrative user name is called “superadmin”.
After logging in, you will see the main screen of sipXecs:
