This section has advice on how to configure external Session Border Controllers to work with sipXecs.

For most installations, no external SBC is needed with sipXecs. The sipXecs proxy includes built-in compensation for both near and far end NATs, and the sipXbridge provides all you need to connect to external SIP Trunk services. But if your deployment requires an external SBC, it should be possible to interoperate with sipXecs.
