- New phones or phones that have been factory reset will have to be restarted manually until they recieve there first valid configuration
Be careful when changing settings involving registration because you could remove your ability to restart it from sipXconfig web UI.

The phone will prompt you to enter the password. The default password is 456.
If the default password has been changed and you are not sure what it is, you should be able to enter the MAC address located on the back of your phone as a password. This will get you into the phone. Make sure to enter the MAC address in lower case.
Web UI not responding
It can take several minutes after phone restarts for phone's web UI to be available.

Polycom trick with Version 3.3.x and above that I thought might be of value to all of you.

<up up.screenCapture.enabled="1" /> add to configuration file in provisioning
Enable screen capture in Polycom Phone via menu
On browser – enter http://<IP address>/CaptureScreen
